Duties include programming,
integration, purchasing, and managing this hospital’s automated systems and IT personnel. Provided hardware and software
support to hospital medical delivery systems, corporate accounting/billing, and network structure using TCPIP to over 2000
pc computers, 12 mini computers (IBM, SUN, COMPAQ) We purchased and integrated
fourteen (14) hospitals and 67 medical clinics into our information systems WAN
network.. Purchased, installed and maintained seven (14) IBM RISC 6000 and three
(3) AS400 servers connected to WAN networks via fiber, T1, T3, and wireless. Designed and installed a Disaster Recovery Site
duplicating production servers to redundant backup servers through Asynchronous Communications on a real time basis providing
high availability for critical systems.
Network Administrator 1991-1993, Zimmerman Sign Company, Longview,
TX.
Duties included programming,
integration, and managing this company’s automated systems. Provided hardware
and software support to the engineering, accounting, billing, and inventory production departments with over 200 computers
in two manufacturing plants. Supported software such as LOTUS, WORDPERFECT, dBASE
and AUTOCAD. Maintained two NOVELL networks with telecommunications to and from each plant.
Integrator 1988— 1991, Medical Management Systems, Tyler,
Texas.
Duties included installing
and supporting software and hardware automated management systems. Used a multi-user 80386 INTEL UNIX platform to run software
consisting of billing, receivables, payables, medical record tracking, word processing, and electronic third party claims
submission. Also, programmed and integrated personal computers to hospital mini and main frame computers. Installed word processing
and spreadsheet software.
Computer Salesman 1984- 1987, MicroAge Computer Center, Tyler, Texas.
Sold and supported business
computers. Developed an educational resource center for delivering software technology to business customers. Taught courses
in computer networking, Unix/Xenix, MS-DOS, computer literacy, Accounting, Graphics, Database, Word Processing, Spreadsheets,
and Programming Languages. Other responsibilities included paid consulting, software development, supervision of support personnel,
training of sales staff, and software & hardware installation & evaluation, Supervised four support personnel -

Computer Systems Manager 1980-1983, San Diego County Head Start,
Developed and implemented
computer software packages for the automation of accounting, budget planning, inventory control, management reporting and
tracking. Duties included being in core administrative policy making unit reporting directly to the Executive Director. We
were responsible for the decision making process for this seven million organization with 300 employees, 35 schools, and seven
subordinate delegate agencies. Supervised five employees.
